The CH-7 is an advanced unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV) developed by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) to provide strike capability against high value time critical targets. Besides, the CH-7 can also provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities thanks to its long range of action. The 13 tons CH-7 is powered by a single turbofan engine allowing a top speed of Mach 0.75 and a service ceiling of up to 13,000 meters. Externally is very similar to the Northrop Grumman X-47 UCAV and is expected to operate from airfields. The tailless CH-7 stealth flying wing drone was unveiled at the Zhuhai China Airshow in November 2018. Its maiden flight is planned for 2019 and its entry into service is expected for 2022-2025.
